Police, ambulance and fire crews responded to several reported incidents in Forestville and Killarney Heights between 09 May and 15 May, according to reports received by authorities.
Disorderly Behaviour
Shortly before 7:45 pm on Saturday, 09 May, NSW Police received a report of a group of youths behaving in a disorderly manner near Cannons Parade, Forestville.
Just before 8:15 pm on Saturday, 09 May, NSW Police were notified of a group of youths allegedly throwing water-filled balloons at vehicles on Melwood Avenue, Forestville.
Fire and Hazard Responses
Just after 9:45 pm on Monday, 11 May, a man attended Fire and Rescue NSW Forestville Station on Cook Street, Forestville, with concerns about an overheating lithium-ion motorcycle battery.
Firefighters checked the battery temperature using a thermal imaging camera before placing it in a drum of water as a safety measure. The owner was advised that firefighters would monitor the battery for a day before he returned to collect it and arrange safe disposal.
Shortly before 6:45 pm on Tuesday, 12 May, Fire and Rescue NSW Forestville Station was called to Warringah Road, Forestville, after a report of a car leaking fuel.
Firefighters found the vehicle had run out of fuel, but also confirmed a leak from the fuel system. The owner was helped to arrange a tow, and absorbent material was used to treat the spilled fuel.
Theft and Security Report
Just after 10:45 pm on Monday, 11 May, NSW Police responded to a security alarm activation on Melwood Avenue, Forestville.
Traffic Incident
Just after 7:00 pm on Thursday, 14 May, NSW Police received a report of a motor vehicle collision on Warringah Road, Killarney Heights. No injuries were reported.
Just after 1:30 pm on Friday, 15 May, NSW Police and NSW Ambulance responded to a two-car crash on Warringah Road, Forestville, near Currie Road.
Paramedics assessed both drivers at the scene. One person was taken to Northern Beaches Hospital in a stable condition.
